Aaron Davis is cofounder of Fortuna Resources and Fortuna Resources Mgmt. Mr. Davis currently serves as President and Chief Executive Officer. Prior to Fortuna, Mr. Davis was a Reservoir Management Team Leader at Occidental Oil & Gas, where he was in charge of the Delaware Basin and the Central Basin Platform in the Permian Basin. Mr. Davis is a graduate of both Rice University and The University of Texas at Austin with a MBA and a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering Honors. He is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Texas.
Polidoros Trejos is a cofounder of Fortuna Resources and Fortuna Resource Mgmt. Mr. Trejos currently serves as Chief Financial Officer. Prior to Fortuna, Mr. Trejos was a Vice President of Finance at Sanchez Oil & Gas, where he shepherded Sanchez Energy through its IPO process. Mr. Trejos is a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin with a B.B.A in Business Honors and Finance. He is a member of the Financial Analyst Program Advisory Council at The University of Texas and is a Technoserve Volunteer Consultant Program alumnus.
EVP of Engineering and Operations
Taylor Russell serves as Vice President of Operations at Fortuna Resources MGMT and EVP of Engineering at Fortuna Resources III. Prior to Fortuna, Mr. Russell was an Engineering Manager at Plantation Petroleum Company where he managed waterflood operations and led horizontal exploration and development projects in the Permian Basin. Previously, Mr. Russell worked for Occidental Oil & Gas and Citation Oil & Gas in multiple engineering roles across the Permian and the Mid-Continent Region. He is a graduate of Louisiana State University with a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering and is an active member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers.
President and EVP of Business Development
Travis Pace currently serves as Vice President of Land & Business Development at Fortuna Resources MGMT and President of Fortuna Resources III. Prior to Fortuna, Mr. Pace was founder and President of Corbin Development Group, LLC, a privately held energy company where he built and led the successful exit of a non-op E&P position in the Delaware Basin. In addition, Mr. Pace previously worked for Marathon as a landman and has owned his own land brokerage firm. Mr. Pace holds a MBA and BA in English from Texas Tech University and an MA in International Relations from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University.
